Well they relate to the regs relating to lotteries – but that’s not listed above.

Small charities carrying our a raffle where the tickets are sold on different days or not just at the event where the prize tickets are drawn have to get a licence from the local authority and have tickets printed with certain info, such as promoter etc. Yet some charities/voluntary events seem to do such raffles without following such regs. Why not either
1. exempt all small charities or voluntary organisations; or
2. enforce the regs so as to make a level playing field.
