Comment:
As small business struggling to survive in todays hard trading conditions that last thing we need right now is to have our heads held under the water by local authorities, stressing the need to comply with this that and the other… On the whole we do know what is required of us! What we need right now is “real” help and support to get back on track and to be able to make significant contributions to our economy before it’s too late! I will however take this opportunity to thank Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service for their help. Straight forward advice, practical solutions to problems and issues with a common sense approach. For those that may not be aware, there is a Business Support Manager in our local fire service assigned to assist the business community in Staffordshire and they do just that without any fuss and not only fire safety related issues either. We have worked with the Business Support Team on a number of occasions to solve issues and to identify best practice and we are happy to say that we always find a solution, as they say “a problem shared is a problem halved”.
